Registration is open for the 65th Annual VJ Day Parade. Join us on August 9, 2026 as we honor and pay tribute to our Greatest Generation as well as recognizing the 250th anniversary of this great country. “America 250”.

"Our friends at the National Flag Foundation have called upon Legion Riders to deliver the colors on a commemorative ride from Pittsburgh (home of the foundation) to Washington, D.C. As of May 4, 150 Riders had registered. Simply put: we need more volunteers."
Past National Commander Daniel J. Seehafer is urging to sign up for Sojourn 250 and members along the route (which HAS NOT been released) to come out to support the ride.

Saturday April 18th will be the next State American Legion Riders meeting at our post (91), 66 Prospect St. Moosup Ct. 1 pm in the hall.
Capture the Plaque will start that day, bring as many members as you can, the Plaque will start with the largest showing members in a Chapter. Good luck to all
