Forever Found

We exist for the prevention, rescue and restoration of child trafficking victims. Worldwide, these children are as young as four and five years old.

The reality is that right now there are 300,000 children at risk of being trafficked for sexual exploitation in the US alone, which means kids right now in our communities are being sold as child prostitutes and slaves. UNICEF now reports that approximately 30 million children have lost their childhood through sexual exploitation over the past 30 years. Partly due to years of society’s ignorance,

human trafficking has officially tied with the illegal arms industry as the 2nd largest criminal industry in world, and remains a 32 billion dollar industry today. When all this is broken down it means on average every 2 minutes a child is being prepared for sexual exploitation. This is why Forever Found began, because after hearing about the reality of child trafficking, we could not stand by and do nothing. Taylor and Shannon Sergey followed the doors God was opening and officially began Forever Found in June of 2010.

One of the most common myths about human trafficking is, "Why didn't they just leave?"

The truth is, leaving is rarely that simple. Fear, manipulation, trauma, threats, isolation, shame, and a lack of safe options can make escaping feel impossible. Traffickers work to create dependence and control, making the path to freedom incredibly complex.

When we replace judgment with understanding, we become better equipped to recognize exploitation, support survivors, and help prevent trafficking before it begins. 💙

It was a beautiful morning as Mentors were invited to tour the future home of Freedom Ranch! For these faithful volunteers to begin to picture meeting with their mentees in this serene space was so exciting!

One Mentor shared enthusiastically: "How can you walk this land and hear the vision and not want to be a part of it?!". It was a sweet time of fellowship, encouragement, and vision-sharing!

We are grateful for each and every person who decides to join the Freedom Ranch Journey!
