We exist for the prevention, rescue and restoration of child trafficking victims. Worldwide, these children are as young as four and five years old.

The reality is that right now there are 300,000 children at risk of being trafficked for sexual exploitation in the US alone, which means kids right now in our communities are being sold as child prostitutes and slaves. UNICEF now reports that approximately 30 million children have lost their childhood through sexual exploitation over the past 30 years. Partly due to years of society’s ignorance, human trafficking has officially tied with the illegal arms industry as the 2nd largest criminal industry in world, and remains a 32 billion dollar industry today. When all this is broken down it means on average every 2 minutes a child is being prepared for sexual exploitation. This is why Forever Found began, because after hearing about the reality of child trafficking, we could not stand by and do nothing. Taylor and Shannon Sergey followed the doors God was opening and officially began Forever Found in June of 2010.

Our staff and mentors are going above and beyond to celebrate Forever Found youths’ milestones!

Recently we celebrated the 15th birthday of one of our youth by surprising her with a quinceneara dress and a photo shoot that youth will remember forever!

We are not just an organization; we are a family and a community, who shows up for the ones who need it most, our YOUTH!

Forever Found joined other local faith-based organizations at Reality Church's Local Ministries Fair. It was so encouraging to see the response from the local Church body wanting to learn more about Forever Found's mission and how they can get involved.

A child’s phone can become an open door and online grooming can move offline.

In a recent Southern California case, an adult used online platforms, including Roblox, to build trust with a 14-year-old girl. He later traveled to California intending to meet her in person. Her family discovered the conversations, reported them, and law enforcement intervened.

This is not about creating fear or blaming children. It is about staying connected.

Parents and caregivers:

• Know which apps and games your child uses
• Regularly review privacy and messaging settings
• Talk openly about online friendships and secrecy
• Make sure your child knows they can come to you without fear of punishment
• Watch for conversations moving to private or disappearing-message apps

Predators rely on secrecy. Safe, ongoing conversations can help interrupt the grooming process.

Please share this with another parent—and take time tonight to ask your child: “Who do you talk to online?”
