Welcome to Voices Against Fraud
Hi everyone, and welcome to Voices Against Fraud!
My name is Jamie, and I started this page to protect families from scams and educate the public. Scams have impacted my family personally — I lost $6,000 five years ago to a scammer posing as a military officer I met online. Recently, my son, Ford Lincoln (name change for his privacy), a 20-year-old with Autism, was also targeted by scammers.
We know firsthand how devastating scams can be — emotionally, financially, and spiritually. That’s why Voices Against Fraud exists: to raise awareness, educate people about scams, and give victims a voice.
I have kept quiet about my story for the most part because along with the absolute devastation, I also felt so much shame and embarrassment...
Now that my son has become a victim, I can't keep quiet anymore.
This is my first time creating something like this. It's my plan to give more context and some backstory in probably my next post. That being said...
We’ll be sharing:
Scam alerts and trends
Safety tips and guides
Survivor stories (safely)
Resources for victims
Please follow our page and share our posts — your support helps us protect more families. If you’d like to help our mission, donations are welcome [insert donation link]. Every contribution helps us warn people and prevent scams.
Together, we can make scams harder to succeed and give survivors the support they deserve.
Thank you for joining us! ❤️
