FRANKENSTEIN is alive at Theatre B - and opening night was sold out!

Here’s a glimpse through the lens of , capturing the work of the cast and design team.

Nick Dear’s adaptation of Mary Shelley’s novel is smart and theatrical. It’s a different kind of fantastical - one that borders on nightmarish. And yes, we planned accordingly: our final weekend is Halloween weekend.

At the center is the Creature, brought into the world innocent and bewildered, then abandoned by his creator. As he encounters cruelty and rejection, we’re asked to look at both him and Victor: Who is the monster?

For us, that’s where the conversation begins. What responsibility do we have for what we create? What happens when our ability to create moves faster than our understanding of the consequences?

It’s gothic. It’s haunting. And we hope it leaves you with plenty to talk about on the way home.

Performances continue through November 1. Reserve your seats!

An actor prepares.

Alex Kleven warms up to step into the role of Victor Frankenstein—and tonight, we open the show at Theatre B!

We’re excited to share this haunting, deeply human story with you. Directed by Matthew Dryburgh, Nick Dear’s adaptation asks what we owe the lives we shape - and who the monster really is in this story.

Opening night is almost sold out! Get your tickets and join us tonight. Bring someone you'll want to talk with afterward.
