"The DEI Department was founded with good intentions, but to meet the needs of our growing and diverse workforce, it must evolve," Dabar said. "Rebranding the office will transform it into a critical resource hub that not only supports the social integration of our residents but also empowers them economically, ensuring Fargo's future prosperity."

"The DEI Department was created to foster a more equitable and inclusive Fargo, but its current structure has fallen short of realizing its full potential," two local leaders said in a release.

Had a successful meeting with the DEI Director of Fargo. It is truly motivating to engage with an individual who is deeply committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within our community. We explored creative approaches to linking employers with a diverse pool of talent and revamping DEI initiatives to effectively cater to all residents of Fargo.

I am confident that under capable leadership, we can establish a more inclusive atmosphere that will be advantageous for everyone. I am eager to contribute to these projects and witness the beneficial changes we can achieve together!
