In May of 2019, we embarked on our first trek to Malawi. 4 Concordia representatives, along with other volunteers from various colleges, to work alongsi
de a community in building a sustainable school building. In doing this, we provided the opportunity for 603 students (323 boys and 280 girls) to attend classes and further their education. This year, although there is much that is uncertain, we are planning to fundraise for another trek in Guatemala in May 2021. If this is not possible due to global circumstances, we will postpone the trek until 2022. Either way, we are working to provide even more students the education they deserve! Should we, for some reason, not be able to send representatives on trek, we will still be fundraising for the materials needed to build a school.
