BMWED Burlington Northern System The Burlington Northern System main office is out of Moorhead MN. The Burlington Northern System is made up of 5 Vice General Chiarman and 1 General Chairman.

The General Chiarman is John Mozinski. The five Vice Generals are:

Zone 1 - Tim Gillum (District 100)
Zone 2 - Calvin Farley (District 100 & 200)
Zone 3 - Zane Sampson (District 200)
Zone 4 - Mat Scherbinf (District 200 & 300)
Zone 5 - Josh Merrier (District 300)

BNSF has served a Section 6 Notice with a list of intended amendments to our collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Attached you will find the Section 6 Notice along with a flow chart on the process laid out in the Railway Labor Act (RLA).

From UHC:
From my understanding there is going to be a spouse audit taking place sometime early next year. I believe we did send out a letter letting everyone know that this is happening , the reason is so that if anyone has a spouse or maybe they are divorced and never told us they would be able to get them coverage during the general open enrollment period. It was just more of a “heads up” notification.

Good afternoon Mr. Gillum,

I can assure you all 53 Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) field offices are open and assisting our customers, including both the Bellevue and Spokane field offices within Washington State. However, we are seeing higher than usual call volumes which in turn, are causing an increase in the average time is takes for an RRB employee to answer a customer’s call. All customer calls are answered in the order they are received but depending on the location, the wait time can sometimes be as long as 45+ minutes. While it can be difficult for individuals to wait that long, I can assure you their calls will be answered as soon as possible. Lastly, I wanted to share with you that we hired an additional 21 employees throughout Field Service this year to increase the staffing in multiple field office locations. Once these new field employees have completed their initial training and are able to start answering customer calls, this should improve the current wait times for calls to be answered.

Per Section 9 of the Addendum to the BMWED National Agreement, effective March 9, 2012, the amounts for the Weekend Travel Allowance, Bed and Breakfast Allowance, Meal Per Diem, Lodging Per Diem, and combined Meal & Lodging Per Diem are to be increased/decreased based on the percentage change the CPI-W, to be effective August 1, 2019. Listed below are the calculations for the August 1st adjustment. The “Adjusted Amount” column reflects the August INCREASE. These new amounts took effect August 1, 2019.
