The 2026 Red River Valley Hunting Heritage Banquet is set for Feb. 13th 2026. It will be at the Marriott Courtyard in Moorhead MN. Doors will open at 5:30 dinner will be served at approx. 7:00. Live and silent auction and lots of other games and chances to win prizes, cash and broomsticks. For more info call 218 790 1226.

Turkey hunting season will be here before we know it! 🦃

💥 Hunters planning to hunt Carlos Avery or Whitewater wildlife management areas need to apply for turkey hunting permits for the A spring hunting season by Friday, Feb. 21.

📜 Carlos Avery WMA has 30 permits available and Whitewater WMA has 150 available.

🏷 Turkey fi****ms permits for these WMAs are distributed via a lottery system for the A season. This helps prevent overcrowding.

🔶 The B, C, D, E or F seasons do not require a permit for these WMAs. Only the A season requires a permit.

❌ New this year — a permit will no longer be required for fi****ms hunters during any season to hunt Mille Lacs WMA (but a license is still required).
