Hi, mind if we talk about donations for a minute or two?
Plain and simple, we love your donations - they keep us going, they provide us with many wonderful things to sell that in turn become funds that stay here in the F-M area to help folks locally. Through outreach programs, things such as clothing and household goods are often provided directly to those with immediate needs. Your donations are pretty much so our life blood. Lately, however, we have been receiving far more than we can handle during our limited hours and, unfortunately along with the wonderful things you've given, we've become a dumping ground for a good deal of un-sellable things. We know it's not our regular donors or supporters who are dropping off their trash after hours, but sometimes a few bad apples can indeed spoil it for everyone. Sadly, (and mostly for a lack of storage space) until we get caught up, we're going to need to take a break from taking in any further donations. Much like many of the changes we've all had to go through this year, it is a fluid situation and is subject to change.
