Community Huddle was a success for the second year, bringing local leaders and community organizations, schools and businesses together to discuss hot topics and top concerns in our community.
Thank you to Crystal Jamerson and Justice North for hosting Community Huddle.
This year’s topic was immigration, and it was a meaningful space to listen, share resources, and talk about how we can better support immigrant and refugee families.
At ESHARA, we believe strong relationships and collaboration are the foundation for a welcoming community. Many organizations are doing important work, but families and frontline workers still need an easier way to know who provides what and where to go for help.
That is why ESHARA shared the idea of an Immigration and Community Resource Map — a simple, shared tool to help partners coordinate, keep resources updated, and make warmer referrals so newcomers can access support more easily.
Thank you to all the speakers, partners, and community members who showed up. Together, we can build a more connected and supportive community for everyone.
