Condolences to the family of sports legend Dale Hertel. Dale played Moorhead American Legion Baseball from 1965-67 and recorded 21 strikeouts in a 1966 game.Brothers Don (1978) and Dan (1979-80) played for the Blues.

The MVP Award began in 1971 and became the Sig Stusiak Memorial MVP Award in 1993.

Joe Baker Most Improved Player Award was created in 2005.

Bucky Burgau Golden Glove Award started in 2007.

Eli Johnson Memorial Award began in 2018.
