On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, HealthReach Community Clinic held its Annual Heroes Luncheon at the Charles Mack Citizen Center in downtown Mooresville. The Mooresville-Lake Norman Rotary is proud to have been a donor to this amazing organization over the years. Our small but mighty club makes it a priority to donate to their cause every year. This year, from left to right, Past President Sonny Morton, President-elect John McLaughlin, President Ann Nivens, and Past President Assaad Mounzer attended the celebration.

The HealthReach Community Clinic exists to provide all residents of Iredell County with high-quality health services, including primary care, medication, and lab services, regardless of ability to pay. They exist because of the generosity of many community partners and volunteers. Check them out at www.healthreachclinic.org.

We had a blast at the Huntersville Happy Hour Club's Fundraising Event Men That Cook. We entered the Meat Chili Contest for Richard's Coffee Shop and Welcome Home Veterans Museum and came in second TWICE! All in all, we were able to donate $2800 to Richard's. Such a worthy organization. If you haven't been yet, please stop by.

Always willing to contribute, our club donated several dozen gallon bags of personal hygiene products to FeedNC for their spring drive. You don't have to wait for an invitation; they accept donations anytime. President Ann Nivens dropped them off last week. Many thanks to our members who were able to participate in our quarterly clean-up on Williams Street in Mooresville. This is an ongoing service project spanning several years. We even had a resident of the area come out and help this year. Way to go, Rotarians! Service Above Self, always!
