The 2026 NCAA Fall Region Meetings wrapped up this past Friday, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the success of each event! From packed agendas and great food to airfield and terminal tours at our host airports, each meeting provided a great opportunity to connect, learn, and engage with airport leaders from across the state.

A special thank you to our luncheon sponsors, Garver and AVCON Engineering, for helping make these meetings possible and for sharing their expertise with our members.

Topics covered included:
• NCAA Update
• NCDOT Division of Aviation Presentation
• RWI & INT Presentations
• Garver & AVCON Presentations

Thank you to everyone who attended, presented, sponsored, and helped make the 2026 Fall Region Meetings a success. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

The NC Airports Association was proud to attend the eLIFT-NC Showcase at Raleigh Executive Jetport, celebrating the launch of North Carolina’s participation in the FAA’s eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP). The event brought together an incredible group of aviation, transportation, and industry leaders, including Governor Josh Stein, to highlight the possibilities of electric and autonomous aviation.

Beyond transforming how we travel, this program has the potential to strengthen healthcare access, support emergency response and disaster relief, and connect communities across North Carolina in new ways.

North Carolina continues to build on its legacy as First in Flight — and the next chapter is already taking off.

Wow! What an incredible day at the NC Global TransPark as we celebrated the ribbon cutting of the new facility for Fleet Readiness Center East.

This milestone represents more than a new facility—it’s a significant investment in aviation, aerospace, and the future of Eastern North Carolina. We’re proud to celebrate the partnerships, people, and vision that made this project possible and excited to see the opportunities this facility will bring to the region. Also, thank you to Governor Stein for your participation in this great event.

Here’s to a new chapter of growth, innovation, and continued aviation excellence at the NC Global TransPark!

Meet the 2026-2027 NCAA Board of Directors!

The NC Airports Association is led by a board of directors. Each board member typically serves in their appointed position for a one-year term. The nominating committee recommends a board member to serve in the role of secretary, that board member then serves in the appointed position for one year and then succeeds to the next higher position on the board.

This group of individuals are passionate about the association and its members and work hard to ensure the success of NC Airports.

Para-Port Doors participated as a NCAA Ed Fund Silver Sponsor and utilized the exhibit hall to engage conference attendees through booth visits. For each attendee interaction at their booth, Para-Port Doors contributed $5.00, with a total match of up to $2,000.00.

This innovative and interactive fundraising approach created a meaningful connection between conference engagement and charitable impact, adding a clear sense of purpose to each booth visit. The funds generated through this initiative directly supported the NCAA Educational Foundation, helping to provide three scholarships to students pursuing careers in the airports and aviation industry.

By linking attendee participation with scholarship funding, Para-Port Doors helped highlight the mission of the Educational Foundation in a tangible and memorable way, strengthening both awareness and support for future aviation professionals.
