Thanks to all that came out today for the Haiti Food Packing at Williamson United Methodist Church. We had approximately 400 volunteers and packed 150,180 meals. Enough to provide meals for over 800 children for one school year. Children that through no fault of their own would not have much to eat. Today's effort will give them a chance to better themselves. Today was a great day with great people. Thank you from the Samaritans Board.

We want to invite everyone to a music program by Kensley Moore this Sunday (April 23) at Southside Baptist Church in Mooresville where she will be performing songs from her Freedom CD. Program starts at 6pm. This is to raise awareness of her album, the sales of which are 100% donated to the Samaritan International Nicaraguan feeding programs. Come out and join us. Help her feed children in need.

Time: 11am to 2pm

What: We will be having a drop-in to launch Kensley Moore's music CD to support the feeding centers in Nicaragua. She will be there to meet you and perform some of her songs. 100% of sales go to the support of g children. We will also have guests from Nicaragua for you to meet.

Thanks to all that helped with and participated in our first charity 5k run/walk. We raised enough to provide over 200,000 meals to children in need.
