The State Service Rifle Championship scheduled tor the 26-27th of August has been cancelled by the National Guard. We are attempting to determine a date to reschedule this match but it will be rescheduled. Please stay tuned.

It is with great sadness that I must say that one of our former junior shooting team members, Joe Albany Jr., was killed in a car accident last night. I do not have a lot of information at this time. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very difficult time. I will post any other information I get on this page.

The match scheduled for this Saturday has been cancelled due to weather. We will be shooting an 800 agg as scheduled on Sunday. Please make sure you attend the match on Sunday. We have very few events left before Camp Perry and it is very important that everyone attends the things we have left.

I have confirmed for the second time this week that our date at Butner for the mid-range match tomorrow is still good. The match will proceed as planned and I look forward to seeing all of you at the match this weekend. Just as a reminder, this is a required match as you were told at Camp Perry. If you can not or do not attend it will count against the team attendance policy for next year.

As a reminder, everyone is to bring a pair of khaki pants and thier awards shirts you got last year for camp perry awards. if for some strange reason you do not have a pair of khaki pants please go get a pair. if you can not get a pair a very nice pair of jeans with no holes or rips in them would be acceptable but ONLY if you can not get a pair of khaki's. For those of you that do not have awards shirts i have a some to give you when we get there. Please DO NOT FORGET these items!

Only a couple of days left until the State Service Rifle Championship. One quick note, there was an error on the match bulletin for this weekend and I want to make sure everyone knows there will NOT be a cookout this weekend. The cookout should have been on the mid-range match in October not this match. Please remember this weekend is MANDATORY attendance for all NCRPA Juniors. Please arrive at the range no later than 7:15 am on Saturday so we can get going as quickly as possible. I will have plenty of components with me to pass out for everyone to finish their Camp Perry Loads. Since this is a question every year, you will need 300 77's and 132 80's for Camp Perry. This includes a modest amount of extras for alibi's and re-shoots if they occur.

There seems to be some confusion out there about our match schedule. The schedule is listed below in another post but for those that have a question, this weekends RMC match at Butner is not an NCRPA event and we will not be paying entry fees for this match. Our State Service Rifle Championship is June 27-28. This match is required for all NCRPA juniors to attend both days of this match. We have had a very hard time getting team members to come to our own scheduled events and this match is mandatory for all to attend. If you have any questions about this please contact me via phone or text message or a personal message through Facebook.

Practice is still on for the weekend and ALL juniors are required to attend at least one day of this practice and both days of the state service rifle championship in June. If you can not do this you must contact me personally or you will be in jeopardy of loosing your spot at camp perry with the team. David will be running the practice this weekend as I have to travel out of town for work. He will have some supplies to pass out but please do not take them unless you really need them. Remember to contact me if you have an issue for this practice or the match in June. You must talk to me and not someone else! See you all in June be safe and shoot well.
