👋 Meet our June Member of the Month, Karl Dueland!
Karl Dueland has pursued a lifelong passion for photography, beginning as a child experimenting with his father’s camera and later studying black-and-white film photography in college. Over the years, he continued developing his craft through workshops and practice, using photography as a creative balance to a 30+ year corporate career before pursuing it professionally in retirement. A Mooresville resident since 2021 after many years in New York’s Finger Lakes region, Karl captures landscapes, culture, and everyday moments with a natural, artistic perspective. He remains active in the local arts community through the Iredell Photography Club, Charlotte Camera Club, and the Mooresville Art Gallery, where he volunteers, exhibits work, and enjoys connecting with fellow photographers at the Sunday Photography Salon.
