Our first meeting was a great success! Our Scouts and adult leaders were presented with “FOUNDER” patches to signify their unique status. Only the second Scouts BSA Troop for Girls in Iredell County, Troop 166 is still accepting members. All who join in our first year are eligible to wear this special patch. Can we get one for you?

Who’s ready to join us?

A year-and-a-half ago, the Boy Scouts of America announced that girls would be able to join its ranks. Last month, the organization even altered the programs name to accommodate the change. Carter Evans reports.
