The girls had a great time at their Christmas party! We had a great year and looking forward to what we will accomplish next year. Merry Christmas from our troop! 🙏❤️🎄

The girls have finished their sewing badge and made pillows for the local hospice patients and their families. The girls decided that they wanted to donate the remaining pillows to the storm victims in Western NC and VA.

Hello everyone! I hope you all were able to stay safe and dry through hurricane Helene.

I'm sure by now you have all seen the pictures and videos of the devastation in the Western NC mountains and Eastern TN. It's all completely destroyed.
I personally am heartbroken at what I am seeing, hearing and reading. I am asking for sincere prayer for these communities AND a call to action!

Starting tomorrow, 9/29/24, Community Baptist Church and Trail Life Troop NC 0274 will be collecting items to be distributed throughout these communities to hopefully relieve some of the stress happening over the basic necessities. Please reference the list below (provided by local pilots who have organized air drop donations) for the items needed most!

*Please drop off donation items on the church porch, under the awning and someone will bring them inside at the end of each day.

I have also added the Red Cross Relief monetary donation link, if you are able to donate that way, it will be a HUGE help to these communities as they begin to rebuild.
