Feed NC FeedNC creates connections to food, education and resources as a catalyst for change. It takes more than a meal to end hunger.

At FeedNC, we serve Mooresville and the surrounding area with nutritious meals, supporting programming, and helpful resources to help those in need. From our Grassroots Grocery to our Culinary Program, FeedNC offers services to anyone who walks through our doors.

Ending Week 5 Strong! 🦺

Our Warehouse Workforce Development students put their skills into action this week by applying the 5S Methodology to our Food Rescue freezer, and look at those results!

The 5S Methodology focuses on five key principles: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.

Our students are excited to show off what they’re learning, and we’re just as excited to see them putting those new skills and teamwork into practice!

A BIG thank you to Pamela Heim-Donoghue and her mahjong group for coming together to donate 148 pounds of food for families in our community!

With the holidays quickly approaching, many of our neighbors are facing difficult decisions between paying their bills and putting food on the table. Donations like these help ease that burden and remind families that their community is behind them. ❤️

Wrapping up Week 4!

Our Culinary Workforce students have been cooking up some beautiful (and delicious!) meals, and they wanted to share a little of their hard work with everyone!

We’re so proud of the skills, creativity, and confidence they’re building each week! ❤️

Dawson and Zac have a turkey... but we need 560 more of these!! 😂

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and we're working to make sure local families can enjoy a delicious holiday meal with their loved ones.

We've already secured 240 turkeys (woohoo!), but we still have a ways to go!

Here's what we still need:
🦃 560 turkeys
🥔 800 of each Thanksgiving fixin' (listed on our website)

With your help, we can make sure our neighbors have everything they need to gather around the table this Thanksgiving. ❤️

Want to help? For more information on the fixin's we need and our other upcoming holiday initiatives, visit:

October is Tackling Hunger Month, and we’re celebrating the people who help us tackle hunger all year long! 💚

Meet Nancy, one of our incredible volunteers who regularly serves in Donoghue’s Open Door. Nancy always shows up with a smile on her face and a willingness to jump in wherever she’s needed. She’s one of the many volunteers who bring so much joy to FeedNC and brighten the days of everyone around them.

We couldn’t do what we do without volunteers like Nancy!
