There’s a lot more to Pat Parker than the businesses she owns. ❤️
Pat is the owner of Troutman Cafe, Southern Treats, and Troutman Event Center, but the impact she has made in our community goes far beyond any storefront.
Over the years, she has quietly helped younger people with things like food, clothing, transportation, housing, and other basic needs - not for recognition, but because she wanted to see them succeed.
She has also looked out for older members of our community, sometimes adding extra food to an order when she knew someone may not have much waiting for them at home.
Pat has faced her own share of difficulties over the years, but she has never let that stop her from helping others. 💛
She is also the person behind Love & Chili for Change, an event created to bring people together and give back to the community. In January 2026, profits from the event were donated to A.C.E. - Accepting the Challenge of Excellence - a scholarship program that supports students who have overcome significant personal challenges and are continuing their education with resilience and determination.
Love & Chili for Change will return in January 2027 with a new charity to support, and Pat hopes to continue growing the event year after year with help from the community. 🌶️❤️
We’re proud to shine some light on the woman that people may or may not know. She may not be totally thrilled with us doing that, but she deserves to be seen! ❤️
