Some nights, the mission looks like riding.

Some nights, it looks like building beds. 🖤

We received a call that three of our adopted kids had outgrown their beds and were sleeping on the couch. So we reached out, got to work, and partnered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to help make things right.

Together, we were able to provide:

🛏️ 3 beds
🛏️ 3 mattresses
🖤 Sheets, pillows, and blankets for each child

And most importantly, each kid got a safe, comfortable place of their own to lay their head.

A huge thank you to Sleep in Heavenly Peace for the work they do and for standing beside us on this one. Their mission is simple and powerful: helping children sleep better by making sure they have a bed of their own.

When nonprofits work together, more kids get reached. More needs get met. More families get supported.

And last night, three kids got to sleep in their own beds. 🖤

If you are someone who is looking for a way to give back to the community this is a great way to contribute:

As our chapter continues to grow, so does our vision.

We want to become an even greater resource in our community by creating more family-friendly events, partnering with foster homes, group homes, and organizations that serve children in need, and bringing resources directly to those who need them most.

To help make that possible, we are building a fully mobile outreach unit.

This won't just be a trailer for free haircuts. It will be a mobile resource center that allows us to provide:

🖤 Hygiene essentials
🖤 School supplies
🖤 Clothing and comfort items
🖤 Community resources and support
🖤 Free haircuts and grooming services
🖤 Outreach events for children and families

We currently have an enclosed pull-behind trailer and are excited to begin bringing this vision to life.

Our long-term dream is to eventually have the unit fully upfitted with electrical, plumbing, and water systems so we can expand our services and better serve children and families throughout our community.

While we are excited about our current trailer, we would also welcome any resources, connections, or donations of a larger RV or motorhome that could serve as a fully self-contained outreach vehicle with a restroom and eliminate the need to rely on volunteers using their personal vehicles to tow the unit to events.

As we begin this journey, we have a few immediate needs:

⚡ A portable generator (estimated cost of $500-$1,000) to power the trailer's air conditioning and electrical needs during events.

🔨 Guidance and assistance from anyone experienced in:
• Trailer renovations and upfitting
• RV conversions
• Plumbing and water systems
• Electrical work
• Carpentry and custom builds
• Mobile service units

If you or your business would like to:
▪️ Donate a generator
▪️ Sponsor part of the build
▪️ Donate materials or equipment
▪️ Offer your skills or expertise
▪️ Help us source items at discounted pricing
▪️ Donate or connect us with an RV or larger mobile unit
▪️ Partner with us on this project

…we would be incredibly grateful.

This is more than a trailer. It's an opportunity to meet children and families where they are, provide support, restore dignity, and remind them that an entire community stands behind them.

Every donation, every share, and every connection helps us move one step closer to making this vision a reality.

If you'd like to get involved, please send us a message.

🖤 No Child Stands Alone. 🖤

Please share. You never know who may have the resources, expertise, or connections to help us build something truly impactful for the children in our community.

San Antonio bound. 🤘

A few of our GOC Mooresville members are taking on a SaddleSore 1000 on the way to the Guardians of the Children rally in Texas.

For anyone wondering, a SaddleSore 1000 is an Iron Butt Association endurance ride: 1,000 miles or more in less than 24 hours.

Our route:
Statesville, NC → San Antonio, TX
1,330 miles. 8 states. 5 riders. 24 hours.

It’ll be a long road, but that’s the point.

Adventure. Friendship. Fellowship.
Long miles are better with good people beside you.

See you in Texas.

Some children in our community are carrying more than a child should have to carry.

In 2024, North Carolina recorded 25,478 child maltreatment victims.

Right now, GOC Mooresville stands with about 10 local children and families — and we want to reach more.

To a child in crisis, support can mean everything.

It can mean a special day when they get to feel like a kid again.
It can mean help for a family trying to get through a hard season.
It can mean care packages, rides, events, and a community that shows up when it matters.

Individual donations of any amount are always appreciated. Whether it’s $10, $25, $100, or more — every act of support helps us continue the mission.

For local businesses, families, and community members who want to partner at a larger level, sponsorship opportunities start at $300, and custom sponsorships may also be available.

The need is bigger than what we can do alone.

Message us to donate, sponsor, or learn how you can stand with local children and families.

When a child calls, we ride.

Happy Birthday to our sister, Clipper. 🖤
Thank you for the way you show up, stand strong, and help make this mission feel like family. The GOC is better because of people like you — people with heart, grit, and a willingness to stand in the corner of kids who need us.
Hope your day is as awesome as you are.
Happy Birthday, Clipper. 🎂

No child should have to face the courtroom alone.

One of the ways Guardians of the Children supports our adopted families is by showing up for court dates. For some kids, that means walking into a room full of strangers, facing painful memories, difficult questions, and sometimes even the person who hurt them.

That is not something any child should have to carry by themselves.

So we show up.

We stand beside them. We remind them they are believed, supported, and protected. We let them know that no matter how heavy the day feels, they have people in their corner.

This is what community looks like.
This is what support looks like.
This is why we ride.

When a child calls, we ride. 🖤💛
