After months of going back & forth Diane & I made the hard decision to shut down PowerHouse.
It’s been 17 years….. what a great run!!
How many organizations can say they went 17 years with at least 1 age group, if not multiple, winning the championship in every single season we played in. That’s pretty impressive.
I’m pretty proud to say I have 30 Championships while being at PowerHouse since we joined in 2011. Not too bad if you ask me. I’m proud to say the least.
PowerHouse has been our family since 2011 when our son Matt started at 5 years old. He’s 20 now. It will be a hard transition, but we’re excited to sit & cheer on our athletes from the stands.
This decision did not come lightly. Running an organization takes a lot of time & dedication that we just didn’t have left to give. Our youngest son will try out for his Middle School Team this year as he enters the 7th grade this upcoming fall.
As most if you know, Diane & I started our business doing Renovations & Pressure washing. To our surprise & excitement, it took off & I’ll need to travel 3 days a week.
This leaves little time to dedicate to our players the way they need us to.
It was just time.
To our Coaches & Admins we can’t thank you enough for your dedication to our organization & athletes. Being a volunteer coach or admin is a thankless job. We’re proud to say we had the ABSOLUTE BEST around!!!!!
We want to thank the thousands of athletes, cheerleaders & parents who have come through our program the last 17 years. It’s been a true pleasure watching each & every one of them grow each season & beyond. We will still be their biggest cheerleaders no matter where we are or they are.
We want to thank Ken & April Monroe for trusting Diane & I with this organization in 2017. We truly held that honor & tried to make sure we upheld the values that the Founders established.
We have 2 more playoffs games. Round 2 Saturday & Super Bowl next weekend.
We’re excited to finish our last season on top. The boys deserve to end this legacy with the hardware.
So For the last time, FINISH STRONG, FINISH STRONG, FINISH STRONG!
Thank you,
Jeff & Diane Phillips
I have thousands of pictures. Here are just a few of the amazing 17 years.
