Before we start flooding your feed with more photos and videos from this year’s Mooresville Fondo, we need to say one very big thank you.

To every sponsor who put their name, resources, and support behind this event, and to every volunteer who gave their time to help make the day happen, thank you.

Events like this do not come together because of one person or one organization. They happen because people step up. They show up early. They haul boxes, work registration, staff rest stops, direct riders, hand out water, help behind the scenes, cheer people home, and stick around until the last job is done.

And our sponsors make so much of that possible before the first rider ever crosses the start line.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped bring the 2026 Mooresville Fondo to life.

The Mooresville Fondo family is heartbroken by the loss of a cyclist who experienced a medical emergency during our event.

Our deepest sympathies are with the cyclist’s family, friends, fellow riders, and all those affected by this tragic loss.

We are profoundly grateful to the first responders, medical personnel, volunteers, and fellow cyclists who acted quickly and compassionately to provide assistance.

Mooresville Fondo has always been about community, connection, and supporting one another. Today, our community grieves together.

We ask that you keep this family in your thoughts and prayers and respect their privacy during this incredibly difficult time.

We’re still taking it all in.

To every rider who clipped in, every sponsor who backed this event, every volunteer who showed up early and stayed late, and every person who cheered from the sidewalk — thank you.

Today’s Mooresville Fondo was what it was because of this community. The miles mattered, but the people made the day.

Packet pickup is today.

Head to The Mill Cyclery (500 S Main St, Suite 104, Mooresville) between 11am and 2pm to grab your packet, your shirt, and your bib before Sunday.

Can't make it today? No problem. Day-of pickup opens at 6:30am Sunday at the Start/Finish area, with donuts out at 6:15am. But if you can swing by today, do it. Shorter line, more time to sleep in tomorrow.

Two days. At Saturday Midnight, the cost to register goes up!

If you've been meaning to sign up for the Fondo, today's the last full day to do it before packet pickup opens tomorrow. After that, Sunday's here whether you're ready or not.

Stop waiting for the right time. There isn't a wrong pace, a wrong bike, or a wrong reason to show up. There's just Sunday, three distances, and a whole town cheering you on.
