Join us for the 2026 Tee to Green Golf Tournament benefiting BOBW Cares Inc. on October 1st at Statesville Country Club.

This event helps fund programs and initiatives that impact youth and families throughout our community, including Next Play mentorship workshops, the Ball & Doll Giveaway, community outreach efforts, meals for families, and leadership development opportunities.

Tournament Details:

• Four-Person Captain’s Choice
• $400 per team ($100 individual)
• Registration begins at 8:00 AM
• Shotgun start at 9:00 AM
• Lunch and silent auction immediately following play

We are also seeking sponsors and silent auction donations. Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and individuals looking to support a great cause while gaining community exposure.

Every dollar raised goes directly back into programs that serve local youth and families.

Another great morning at Fifth Street Ministries for our Next Step Mentorship Workshop.

Today’s discussion focused on Making Summer Count.

We talked about being intentional with our time, setting meaningful goals, creating structure in our daily lives, and making decisions that move us forward rather than hold us back. Summer provides an opportunity for growth, but only if we choose to use it wisely.

One question guided much of our conversation:

“When September gets here, what do you want to be able to say you accomplished this summer?”

I appreciate the men who continue to show up each month, engage in the conversation, share their experiences, and invest in their own growth. These discussions are always honest, challenging, and encouraging.

One of the most impactful moments of the morning came at the end when AJ volunteered to close us out in prayer.

A special thank you to our partner, Youth 21, and to Fifth Street Ministries for helping make these workshops possible. Together, we’re creating a space where men can connect, grow, and take the next step toward becoming the best version of themselves.

Small steps today can create meaningful change tomorrow.

Third Wednesday of the month… you know where we’re at!

Back at Fifth Street Ministries serving up a great meal thanks to our friends at , Chef Jeremy, and the entire staff. As always, the mac and cheese was a hit!

They said today was the most people they’ve had come through in weeks. Blessed to be a blessing. We truly enjoy serving and giving back to the community.

• 1,043 nights of shelter
• Housing support for veterans
• Safety for survivors of domestic violence
