The countdown is on!

As we approach the end of our fiscal year on June 30, we're making one final push to raise the remaining amount needed to meet our goal.

Every day, The Christian Mission walks alongside individuals and families facing financial hardship, providing crisis assistance, case management, educational programs, and pathways toward long-term stability.

Today, we're asking you to be part of that impact.

No amount is too small. Every dollar helps provide hope, support, and practical resources for neighbors working toward a brighter future.

Help us close the gap and reach our goal before June 30.

📢 Calling all volunteers!

We're looking for helping hands to sort and stock food in our pantry following deliveries from one of our incredible partners, Second Harvest.

This volunteer opportunity takes place every Wednesday from 11:30 AM–2:30 PM. Due to the nature of the work, volunteers must be at least 15 years old.

Interested in making a difference in your community? Visit the link in our bio to sign up.

We can't wait to see you there and make an impact together!

This is what happens when support works.

Because of your generosity, individuals and families have found support during difficult seasons, volunteers have been equipped to serve, communities have grown stronger, and hope has become action.

Every meal shared, resource provided, encouraging conversation, and life impacted is possible because people like you choose to invest in this mission.

As we enter the final month of our fiscal year, we're celebrating the impact you've made and looking ahead to the lives that still need support.

Here's what your gift can do:

• $33 provides one Life Skills class
• $250 provides one month of groceries
• $425 covers emergency household assistance
• $2,000 provides one year of food support
• $175/month supports a family for an entire year

Thank you for believing in this work and for showing up. Thank you for making a difference.

Help us finish our fiscal year strong before June 30.

Sometimes the greatest transformations begin in the middle of someone’s hardest season.

When Justin first came to The Christian Mission, he was facing uncertainty and difficult circumstances. Through support, encouragement, and programs like Life Skills, his story slowly began to change. What began as receiving help soon grew into something deeper—confidence, connection, and purpose.

“I love to give back to the community,” Justin shares. “I remember what it was like to have nothing… the program helped me build communication skills and confidence.”

As his confidence grew, so did his impact. Justin became a familiar face volunteering in the warehouse and pantry—offering kindness, encouragement, and a welcoming presence to everyone he met.

Today, the story has come full circle. The same place where he once received support is now where he is on staff as Warehouse Associate.

His journey is a reminder that lasting transformation happens through support, opportunity, and the tools to rebuild.

Because of generous supporters like you, stories like Justin’s are possible.

As we close out our fiscal year, we invite you to help us finish strong so more families can be served during a time of rising need.

A stable home changes everything.

For many families, rental assistance is the difference between staying housed or facing eviction, displacement, and uncertainty. It helps keep children in their schools, protects routines families depend on, and provides breathing room during difficult seasons.

When clients come to The Christian Mission for help, they’re often carrying the weight of impossible choices — paying rent or buying groceries, covering utilities or affording childcare. Rental assistance helps prevent a temporary hardship from becoming a housing crisis.

But stability is about more than keeping a roof overhead. It creates space for healing, planning, working, parenting, and moving forward with dignity.

Because of generous supporters, families in our community are able to remain safely in their homes and take the next step toward long-term stability.

You can help make that possible for someone today.

What would you do if everything changed in a matter of months?

You move to a new state to care for family. Then you lose your father. Work becomes unstable. Bills pile up. Your driver’s license is gone. Rent keeps rising. And every night, three children are depending on you to hold everything together.

That was Michael’s reality.

As a single father of three, Michael wasn’t looking for a handout. He was trying to survive one crisis after another while keeping life stable for his boys. What started as financial strain quickly became something deeper: isolation, uncertainty, and the fear of losing everything.

When facing eviction, Michael turned to the Mission.

Because of support from people like you, we were able to step in with rental assistance, life-changing support, and a community that reminded him he wasn’t alone.

Today, Michael has stable employment, secure housing, and now volunteers to encourage others facing similar struggles.

Crisis can happen faster than most people realize.

That’s why we are working to raise the final amount needed over the next month and a half to fully fund critical programs that help prevent homelessness for individuals and families right here in our community.

Your gift can make an immediate impact:
• $100 helps provide groceries for a family in crisis
• $500 helps keep the electricity on in a child’s home
• $1,000 helps prevent Southern Iredell families from living on the street

Will you help another family like Michael’s before crisis turns into homelessness?
