A look back at an unforgettable A Hero’s Homecoming 2025.

Last year, we came together to honor our nation’s heroes, celebrate their service and make a meaningful impact for veterans and their families.

Now, we’re getting ready to do it all again.

Join us November 19 at the Cain Center for the Arts for A Hero’s Homecoming, featuring the placement of a service canine and a night of comedy with Jamie Lissow .

This , we honor U.S. Navy veteran Robert Baumgarten, who retired as a Senior Chief after 22 years of service.

During his career, Robert sailed every ocean and set foot on every continent, including a lengthy deployment to Iraq. A humble and proud veteran, he remains deeply devoted to his country, his family and his fellow service members.

This , we honor U.S. Navy veteran Joshua VanDyke.

Joshua served five years as an Aviation Ordnanceman with Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 136 aboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65), completing two deployments during the carrier’s final years of service.

Inspired to enlist after witnessing the attacks of September 11, Joshua joined the Navy at 18. After facing his own challenges transitioning to civilian life, he now uses his experience to help other veterans find their way forward.

Thank you, Joshua, for your service and continued dedication to the veteran community.

This , we’re honored to recognize Purple Heart Veteran Kyle Jones.

On July 4, 2008, Kyle spotted an IED and made the selfless decision to put himself in harm’s way in an effort to protect the group behind him. His actions saved his entire group, with no casualties.

Today, Kyle is a die-hard NASCAR fan who finds relaxation and comfort in the sport he loves.

Kyle is a true American hero, and we are proud to honor his courage, sacrifice and service to our country.
