Clever C.L.E.V.E.R.'s mission is to create an equitable society through literacy educational initiatives and Youth LGBTQIA+ programs and resources.

The founder and CEO, Stephanie Kline birthed C.L.E.V.E.R. in its infancy, years ago when she became frustrated with the lack of outlets to assist and help in the areas of social justice and community growth that she was most passionate about. C.L.E.V.E.R., since its inception, has grown to become a literacy advocacy organization, as well as, a resource for Youth LGBTQIA+ persons in her community.

Though most of the current projects are focused within North Carolina at the moment, C.L.E.V.E.R. looks to expand and partner with communities and organizations across the United States and beyond. As the owner of several writing and book based companies, Stephanie has learned the importance of people over profit, and the fair and equitable treatment of all humans, especially within the work place. This alone has helped her companies blossom and unfold into lucrative and successful ventures. She wants that momentum to grow and seep into the companies and communities around her. While the two focused areas of C.L.E.V.E.R. are separate, they find themselves constantly intertwining as she continues to strive and grow toward a more equitable future for all.

Take some time this evening, before your NYE festivities begin, and watch the NC Poor People's Campaign : A National Call For Moral Revival event live at 6pm, where our founders, Stephanie and Michael will be speaking on LGBTQIA+ and poverty, Rev. Dr. William Barber II will deliver a message of hope and a call to action, as well as multiple other amazing speakers. If you cannot make the 6pm live event, it will be replayed at 10pm.

I feel so incredibly lucky to be spending my new years eve speaking about poverty and LGBTQIA community from Clever pov, beside my son Mikey who will also be speaking, with Rev. Dr. William Barber and Rev. Dr. Hanna Broome. If you can make it to Union Baptist Church in Winston Salem at 6pm tonight, I would love to see you. She will be speaking on Poverty within the LGBTQIA+ community and her personal experiences with it, and beyond! The event will be in person and virtual and we'd love to have you in the seats!
