Police Unity Tour Team Mount Laurel Team Mount Laurel is comprised of six riders and one support member from FOP Lodge 191, riding with Chapter Ten of the Police Unity Tour

The ride dates are from May 9th through May 12th, starting in NJ and ending in Washington DC. Each member, rider and support, must raise a minimum of $1950.00 for acceptance into the Police Unity Tour. All donations are tax deductible. Mission Statement

The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty. The secondary purpose is to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial and Museum

UPDATE: Identified and charged

On Monday morning at approximately 12:13 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Route 73 southbound for a reported motor vehicle crash involving a male riding an e-bike and an unknown vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located a 49-year-old male, later identified as Anthony Caprio III of Magnolia, who was pronounced deceased as a result of the crash.

The involved suspect vehicle, described as a white SUV traveling southbound, fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. The Mount Laurel Traffic Unit, Detectives Bureau, and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office responded and are actively investigating this incident.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mount Laurel Police Department at 856-234-8300 or the confidential tip line at 856-234-1414 ext. 1599.

All persons are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
