On Memorial Day, we reflect on this Bible verse which has played out across our Nation's history. Men and women have laid down their lives, willingly and heroically. What a perfect example of sacrifice and the kind of love God has for us.

As you read this verse, think on the sacrifices that so many across our country have made for our freedoms and also the sacrifice that Jesus made for each of us on the cross. There is no greater love than for one to give their life for another.
