🎵 Country roads, take me home! 💛💙

Miriam has been busy in her home sewing room, and she showed us a few more works-in-progress last week. These machine embroidered West Virginia ornaments along with many other designs will be available for public purchase at our annual Quilt Show, McCoy's Fall Fest, and other select venues.

Scenes from our Fabric Strip class 6/17/26 taught by Maudie & Susan...

The first 3 photos show inspiration pieces that Maudie had made prior to our class, and the rest of the pics are from our workshop.

Participants noted how relaxed the atmosphere was as they worked on their own unique projects side-by-side and at their own paces. Varying amounts of prep work had been done before class, yet no one felt rushed or behind. We enjoyed our carried-in lunches together when we got hungry, and then the work continued.

Everyone made good progress, and Carol completed a floral placemat in shades of blues and creams - it's beautiful! 😍 We're excited to see everyone's finished products at a future gathering!!
