We are so thankful for Mrs. Tracy Lucas at Central Elementary! ❤️ After loving her time teaching 3rd grade, Mrs. Lucas stepped into the Title I role because she knew she could make an even bigger impact on students across our school. From coordinating tutoring and hosting fun, family-focused Title I math and reading nights to immediately joining PTA her first year and even volunteering to be our mascot, Cubby, Mrs. Lucas is always looking for ways to serve. Her heart for students, families, and our entire school community makes her truly special. We are so lucky to call her one of our Central Cubs!

A great school librarian does so much more than help students find the right book, and Mrs. Kirsten Draper proves that every day! ❤️ Mrs. Draper doesn’t just open the library doors and let PTA invade her space for meetings - she makes us feel welcome every time. She regularly joins our meetings, asks the important questions, and listens to our ideas. But what makes her truly special is that she doesn’t stop there. Mrs. Draper follows up with thoughtful suggestions and practical ways to help us turn our goals into reality. She is always willing to lend her time, her space, and her ideas to help make Central a better place for every Cub!

Central Elementary is incredibly lucky to have Mrs. Emily Couch, one of our amazing 5th grade teacher! Mrs. Couch has never missed a PTA meeting, because she believes in being involved and making Central a better place for every student. This year, she was named Central’s Teacher of the Year - a recognition that is so well deserved! And somehow, while pouring her heart into her students and our school community, she also earned her Masters degree in May 2026!!! Her dedication, passion, and commitment to education inspire us all. Central Elementary and all of our Cubs are so thankful for all Mrs. Couch does to help continue our success!
