OKC Ambassadors The OKC Ambassadors are a baseball team devoted to discipleship, evangelism and athletic excellence. We are AMBASSADORS for Christ!

The OKC Ambassadors are a discipleship baseball organization that was originally designed for college level high school Juniors and Seniors. For 18 years we have played all across the U.S. and even internationally during our eight to ten week summer program. Recently, we have expanded our program offerings to include youth teams. The Ambassadors are so much more than a team that prays together bef

ore a game. During the Ambassador season, our players will receive intensive Bible study training to help them learn spiritual disciplines in their lives as they prepare to go face the challenges that life and the world are going to throw at them. As much as we challenge them on the baseball field, we also challenge them spiritually throughout the season. After training, we give our players the opportunity to share the Gospel with other teams. We have seen many individuals come to know Christ on a baseball field that would have never stepped foot into a church. For our older team we provide our players this opportunity by hosting free baseball clinics for little leagues where our players will teach kids the fundamentals of the game of baseball, while also presenting the Gospel as well as their own personal testimonies. Our players are also matched up with an accountability partner for the season, so they can develop the discipline of being authentic with their lives with other Christian believers. We all need people in our lives that can pray for us and challenge us to be who God wants us to be. This is especially true for young men who are about to be on their own for the first times in their lives as they go off to college. Overall, a season of playing for the OKC Ambassadors is a privilege. We have had over 220 Ambassador alumni who have worked to get our organization to the point where we are thriving on and off the baseball field. We are impactful on the baseball field, because of the caliber of baseball that we play. And we are influential in our ministry because of the name of Jesus Christ that we proclaim. We are truly 100% Baseball and 100% Ministry. A young man can sincerely be a great baseball player and a true follower of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to equip the young men who play in our organization with spiritual tools and leadership skills in order to be prepared to impact the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ during and after their baseball career.

Let us keep our focus on Godly wisdom and the purpose that God has for our lives. If we do this, we will find refreshment in our satisfaction in Christ on a daily basis. And our lives will be pleasing to God.

Our teams are continuously being equipped to take the Gospel to the world of athletics. Our coaches do such a wonderful job of pouring into the young Ambassadors that are in our ministry.

A life controlled by the love of Christ implores others.

Most every Christian has spent time wondering what the purpose and the will of God is for their life. This is a common question that most believers strive to answer. As we look to the Word of God, we can clearly define the mission that God has set forth for each believer. According to the Apostle Paul, we are each to be Ambassadors for Christ, passionate in making our King known to the world.

It is time we, as followers of Jesus, take this call seriously. We must emulate Paul’s example, allowing the Holy Spirit to control our lives, which will produce within us a desire to implore the world to trust Christ.

This verse-by-verse exposition of 2 Corinthians 5:1–21 will give you a newfound passion to live your life as an ambassador for Christ.

Through this study, you will be:
-Challenged in your daily walk with Christ.
-Reminded to walk in a manner worthy of the Gospel.
-Taught what it means to fear the Lord and not man.

We are thankful for the opportunities to play the game of baseball. But more than anything, we are grateful for tournament directors who allow us to share the Gospel after games and pray with other teams.

It has been so good to find many many brothers and sisters in Christ at tournaments who are encouraged by our ministry! Just because you don't wear "Ambassadors" across your chest when you play doesn't mean that you cannot be an Ambassador for Christ.

May God continue to work in and through us as our ministry takes the Gospel to the world of athletics.

We have been learning about Biblical discipline from Proverbs 3. There are so many great applications that we can use from Scripture as we are training these young athletes to live for Christ through the game of baseball. Let us all run the race with endurance.

The Lord is training His children to be conformed into the image of His Son. We need to understand that all of what God is doing in our lives is for our good and His glory. We should be willing to be disciplined. This is a great testimony of the work He has done in us.
