When she was surprised by seeing her son, the only thing she could say was, “you’ve been alive this entire timetime?!?!” And then she passed out. Utilizing social work for family reunification is one of our greatest joys.

Update on Family Tracing!

The team has been to Bugiri, Tororo and Mbale districts tracing the families of Wilson, Isaac and Paul. Today they are in Kapchorwa, Soroti and Kumi.
And when faced with a beautiful view and clean air, you forget everything a little bit and jump up with all your energy!

Please keep praying for them to locate all the remaining families on this trip.

Our van’s brakes got worn out during the journey, but we were able to have them replaced safely. Along the way, we witnessed seven accidents, which reminded us of God’s protection and grace over our team. We are now back home with so much to reflect on and even more to be grateful for.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Together, we have the privilege of witnessing what God is doing as He restores the hearts of fathers to their children and brings families back together.

Stay tuned as we share some powerful, life-transforming stories from the boys whose lives are being changed through this work soon.

Our Family Tracing, Reunification, and Reconciliation Program has officially begun. Today, we launched the Eastern Uganda chapter of this important journey.

Over the next two days, our team will travel more than 970 miles as we trace and visit the homes of the first seven boys, reconnecting them with their parents, guardians, and relatives.

We invite you to join us in prayer for safety on the roads, wisdom throughout the process, and hearts that are open and receptive to welcoming these children back home.

Please also pray for our staff members, Cosmas, Sam, and Josh, who are accompanying the boys on this journey.

We are grateful for your prayers and support as we take these significant steps toward restoration, reconciliation, and renewed hope for these families.

An ocean may separate us, but some things are beautifully universal.
Children delighting in the wonder of growing things. The excitement of a special treat. Laughter with friends. Dirt on little hands and ice cream on smiling faces.
Today was filled with simple moments that remind us we’re more alike than different.

One of our very beliefs is this: that even if everything else fails, if they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, then we have not failed at all. Today, our hearts are full of joy because out of our current 24 boys in transient, 13 have already made this personal decision and have been baptized.
Heaven is rejoicing, and so are we. Will you rejoice with us? And please pray for the rest as well.

The parents are undergoing a training with an Educational Psychologist Ann-Maura Hinton about understanding and supporting teens who’ve experienced Trauma.
You too are welcome to share your skill with us.
