📣 MYCA Update 📣

Due to the extreme heat, we are making a few changes to help keep our athletes safe.

☀️ Today’s practice (Tuesday, August 4th) has been canceled.

📅 Our first practice will now be Thursday, August 6th, from 6:00–8:00 PM at the Buck Thomas Park football fields.

👕 Our 2nd Uniform Fitting will also take place Thursday during practice.

We’ve also decided to extend cheer registration until Thursday, August 6th at 3:00 PM. If you’ve been thinking about joining the Moore Cats family, this is your last chance to register for the season!

Thank you for your understanding. We know everyone is excited to get started, and we can’t wait to see all of our cheerleaders on Thursday! 🖤💖

🏈📣 MEET MYFA & MYCA NIGHT! 📣🏈

Due to the excessive heat, we’ve rescheduled our Parent Meeting and Community Meet Night to Monday, August 3rd, from 6:30–8:00 PM at the Buck Thomas Park Football Fields.

This event is OPEN TO EVERYONE! Whether you’re already part of MYFA or MYCA, thinking about joining, or just want to learn more about our organizations, we’d love to meet you!

•MYCA Cheer Parent Meeting
•Games and fun for the whole family
•Music
•Special performance by our MYCA Cheer Campers at 7:30 PM

🏈 MYFA Tackle Football Registration is OPEN!

Once your email is sent, you’re all set! MYFA will assign your player to a team.

Are you a coach bringing a team that needs a league? Email us for a registration code and we’ll get you taken care of.

📣 MYCA Cheer Registration is OPEN!

We’re extending cheer registration through August 3rd so families have the opportunity to attend Meet MYFA & MYCA Night, meet our coaches and board, ask questions, and learn more before registering.

At MYCA, our athletes do more than cheer on the sidelines. They cheer for football, compete in competitions, learn stunting and tumbling, participate in community outreach, and build confidence, leadership skills, and lifelong friendships. We welcome athletes of all skill levels, from all school districts, as well as homeschooled students, and we’re proud to partner with Epic Charter Schools and Braintree as approved vendors.

We can’t wait to kick off an incredible season with our community. We hope to see you on August 3rd!

The countdown is on! Registration for the 2026 Moore Cats Cheer season closes August 1st, and we can’t wait to welcome new and returning athletes!

Whether your child is brand new to cheer or has years of experience, we’d love to have them join the Moore Cats Cheer family!

Open to Grades K–12
All skill levels welcome
Fundraising opportunities available

Important Dates:

🖤 July 28 | 6:30 PM – Parent Meeting & Meet MYFA/MYCA Night
Come meet your coaches, board members, football families, and fellow cheer families as we kick off the season together! We’ll also be sharing important information about the upcoming season.

🖤 August 1 – Registration Closes
🖤 August 4 – 2nd Uniform Fitting
🖤 August 11 – Uniform Fees Due

📣 We’re still looking for K–6th grade coaches! If you’ve been thinking about getting involved, we’d love to talk with you. No previous coaching experience is required, we’ll provide the support and resources you need.
