Unfortunately, this is something truly heartbreaking to witness up close. Last week, we received a call about a baby bunny found bleeding on a concrete sidewalk, suffering from fly strike. This is a harsh reminder of how vulnerable wildlife can be and how much they rely on us to notice and act. Below is a care guide to help until you can get the animal to a licensed rehabber.

Wait to the end of the video for the little bunny we released last week on Always Sunny Sanctuary and Rescue property. We just ❤️🐰!!!!

Every day we see the impact humans have on wildlife both the harm and the help. This Earth Day, here are 5 simple ways you can make a difference right from home…

Skip pesticides & rodent poisons
Plant native species
Secure trash & pick up litter
Check for nests before mowing
Drive slower at dawn & dusk

Small changes save lives. The animals we care for depend on it.

It’s always incredible to see what can happen when two organizations work together for the good of an animal. Recently, we found ourselves in need of a new release site—something we like to rotate to keep things fresh and suitable for wildlife. With that, we’d like to extend a BIG thank you to Isis Temple with Always Sunny Sanctuary and Rescue for allowing us to use some of their property to help release rehabilitated wildlife back into the wild. If you get a chance to donate to her rescue we would appreciate it as she does great work with domestics.

🌔 Lights Out for Spring Migration - From Apr 15 – May 31, we ask that you turn off non-essential outdoor lights between 11 PM – 6 AM to protect migrating birds and vital pollinators.🦆🦋

Artificial light at night disrupts natural behaviors, reduces pollination, and can draw wildlife into unsafe areas—impacting birds, moths, monarchs, and more.

Simple actions make a big difference:
• Close blinds at night
• Don't use landscape lighting
• Use warm, down-directed, motion-activated lights when needed

🌟 Together, we can reduce light pollution, save energy, protect wildlife, and bring back the stars.
