We're creating a safe environment for airmen to have a healthy dialogue about social tensions and unconscious bias. This is a chance to to have a courageous conversation about equality, equity, and diversity with your peers. We're looking for 15 airmen to join us for a facilitated discussion and remember this is for airmen, by airmen. Only the first 15 airmen to sign-up may attend.

WHEN: Wednesday 12 Aug 20 @ 11-12:30

WHERE: Moody Field Club- Tiger’s Den

WHY: To encourage airmen to open up and have courageous conversations

Interested in Dinner & Painting? We know about an event just for you.

When: Tomorrow, July 31, 2020

Time: 1900 to 2000 (7:00 to 8:00 p.m.)

What: This event will be an opportunity to cook virtually with Chef Randy from Friends Bar and Grill and virtually paint after you make your meal. (All painting material will be provided by 23 WG Resilience Team)
The team has partnered with the Turner Arts Center in Valdosta, GA to put on this event.
Event Requires- Purchase of ingredients for cooking portion prior to the event. (The listing- can be found on the Eventbrite Sign up page)

Where: Will be held via Zoom format. Please register at Eventbrite Couples Virtual Cooking Class & Paint Night-Moody AFB

Tickets: 22 Spots- Available (1 Ticket= 2 ppl)

Who: Active Duty, Civilians, and NAF Employees (Feel free to do it with your roommate or friend)

To all Dorm Residents! If you haven’t heard already, Dorm Management has created a fun and relaxing Quarantine Mask contest to ease the tension caused by COVID-19. The masks with the most laughs and votes will win some great prizes donated by your leadership and organizations around you. Please participate, encourage your roommates and other dorm airmen to participate! Hopefully we all can have a great time with this contest! Please message dorm management if have any questions.

Good Morning, this month the ACE council has teamed up with the 23rd WG Top III for Speed Mentoring!
Airmen can talk to Senior NCOs about many things including: deployments, special duty, education, promotion, and many more things!

1500-1530: Open Forum Discussion

**Upcoming Volunteer Opportunity**

The Haven is in need of 3-4 volunteers @ 9:30 a.m. this Tuesday, March 3, 2020. They will only need volunteers to help move furniture. It's a simple task, but it'll be a big help.

It is short notice, but any volunteers will be greatly appreciated. Please comment or message us if you're interested and we'll get you in contact with the POC.

Volunteer Opportunities:
First Baptist Church is hosting the Nite To Shine on February 7th Downtown. It is a special night for mentally handicapped people in our community with music, food, fancy clothes, make up, pictures, limo rides and more.

General Volunteers are needed 1700-2000( accompany guests , security , food servers, and dress formally) need to attend one mandatory training)
Training dates are:
Sunday, January 26th 1000
Sunday, January 26th 1800
Thursday, January 30th 1800

They are also in need of a Set-up/Tear-Down team who are not required to attend training.
Set Up Team assist 1200-1600
Tear down team 2030-2130
