This scholarship serves to honor our past educators' Legendary Performance, to acknowledge the role and work of our present educators, and to support future educators. We hope to lift up, support and inspire the best and brightest in our own LP family to continue our most vital work and life’s mission. It is said, “Teaching is the one profession that creates all other professions.” Our teachers want to pay it forward to the next generation of teachers. We fundamentally believe that it is teachers who will continue to make a difference in the lives of our young people as they journey towards their tomorrows.
This annual scholarship will be awarded based on review of applications by a team of teachers, counselors, and retired LPHS teachers. The scholarship will range somewhere between $500-$1,000 and will be awarded in May at Senior Awards night.
The check will be issued from LPHS to the confirmed college or university of attendance in the fall.
