As we begin celebrating Fuel International’s 30th anniversary coming up in August, we want to start giving “Shout Outs” to some of our long-term ministry partners.
Let’s give a shout out to our Puerto Rico ministry partners! A team of volunteers from Gosén Iglesia de la Familia Ponce in Puerto Rico joined with other brothers and sisters from churches in Puerto Rico for a mission trip to Haiti! Gosén Iglesia has gone GLOBAL! Praise God! They are impacting communities facing great need. They brought food, school supplies, and Bible instruction for children and adults, and many have taken steps toward faith in Jesus!
Gosén Iglesia also did "Everyone to the Table" event at Las Delicias Plaza in Ponce, Puerto Rico. It was an incredible time where the love of Jesus was felt in a very special way. Around 200 people were impacted, and nearly 60 volunteers (including youth and children) shared a word of encouragement and hope with each person, offering prayers, hugs, food packages, and seating at a table where they were served a meal. It was more than just an event... the church went out into the streets to serve, to comfort people in these times of great need, and to remind them that everyone is invited to the Lord's table.
Fuel International first got connected with Pastor Giovanni and Gosén Iglesia when we sent teams to do disaster relief to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria in 2017. We love what Gosén Iglesia is doing in its community and in the world!
