The Woodmoor Barn Community Center, known as The Barn, is a facility in Woodmoor that can be rented for functions such as birthday parties, anniversaries, weddings and receptions, classes, etc. The maximum capacity of the facility is 100. We provide tables (rectangular) and chairs (padded, folding chairs). We have a small kitchen (refrigerator, stove, microwave) that is available for your use. You

can bring your own food in or use the caterer of your choice. You can serve alcohol, but it cannot be sold, as WIA does not hold a liquor license. If you are interested in renting The Barn, please contact the office by phone (719-488-2693 ext 6) Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. You do not have to be a Woodmoor resident to rent the facility. Hours of availability, rates, and deposit vary. Please call to discuss details of your event for more information.

Last year we had a record number of inquiries regarding Aspen trees. Aspen trees are not native to our elevation and suffer from a variety of pests and diseases. We are hosting a free class to our residents presented by the El Paso County Extension Office to answer your questions and concerns. Reserve your seat today!

Woodmoor Improvement Association is not endorsing any specific candidate for the D-38 School Board; however, we would like to encourage residents to attend a "Meet the Candidates" gathering at The Barn on Monday, October 19 from 6:30 to 8:30. In an informal setting, community members truly will be able to ask questions of the candidates running for the open positions on the D-38 School Board.
