Please note that there is an urgent weather message from the National Weather Service for a hazardous weather outlook, tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9th: wind advisory, flood watch, and coastal flood watch. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. Excessive runoff from flooding of rivers, creeks, and streams is expected to impact low-lying and flood-prone locations. There will also be gusty winds. Please take precautions and look out for one another.

STRATFORD HARBOUR COMMUNITY

This is an urgent notification from Maryland American Water. Our crews are making emergency repairs due to a main break in Stratford Harbor beginning at 9:00 am, Tuesday, December 19th, 2023. You reside in the affected area and may experience discolored or cloudy water, low water pressure, or no water. Repairs are expected to take approximately 8 hours to complete. When water service is restored, customers may experience discolored water. If your water is discolored, run the cold water taps only, at the lowest level of the house for about 3 to 5 minutes until the water runs clear. You will not receive any further notification unless additional action is required or conditions change.
If you are a landlord and water service is in your name, please inform your tenants so they are aware of this impact to their water service. In keeping with American Water’s focus on safety for both customers and employees, please do not approach our crews while they work.

Come Join us Saturday, October 28, at 3PM for the unveiling of Wayne's Way. Wayne Shields was the 'Mayor of Stratford Harbour' and the naming of the beach road to Wayne's Way has been in the works for a while, and sadly he will not be able to see the unveiling. The unveiling will be at the entrance of the Shark Tooth Beach Road (now Wayne's Way). We will share a brief Moment of Silence and share some time sharing stories about Wayne, if you wish.

Urgently complete efforts to protect life and property. Follow evacuation orders if given for this area to avoid drowning or being cut off from emergency services.
