589 was invited to demonstrate our robot and FIRST at the Blue Origin North Hollywood Family Day event on Friday August 29th. We had a great time meeting so many awesome kids and introducing them to our robot Wall-E. We were also given a tour of the Blue Origin workspace before our demonstration. Huge thank you to Blue Origin for inviting us.

It was amazing to work with Camp | Gym | Family Events again this summer for another vibrant STEM and robotics camp for K-6th students!
Our coaches and mentor volunteers had an awesome time being able to help students build, program and compete with their own VEX and Lego robots. Students also engaged in engineering challenges like building balsa wood bridges. Thank you to the Y, volunteers, and students for making this happen!

Join us this summer for a day filled with fun engineering related activities, and learn to think like an engineer!

This is a beginner-friendly camp filled with building challenges and lessons in designing.

Mentors will consist of members from the Crescenta Valley High School Robotics team, who will showcase their award-winning robots and give a tour of their workshop.
Lunch and snacks will be provided.

That marks the end of the 2026 FRC Competition Season!

Thank you to all our sponsors and donors for making this trip memorable.

We had an amazing time competing, exploring everything the venue had to offer, and talking to other teams. We even had the opportunity to have dinner with and , visit the Johnson Space Center, and do an escape room!

Extra shout out to our Impact Team, Drive Team, Pit talkers, Scouters, Pit Crew, Media Team, and mentors for all the hard work.

See you all in the 2026 Off Season !!
