Well Howdy..Welcome to MTRC... its been over 40 years, since MTRC Founder, LaurieAnn Nelson, began putting people together with horses...”it was in these early days we would take patients and groups of kids with disabilities on trail rides through Jack London State Historic Park, the Amazing things that would happen with the Human and Horse connection was sublime”. Working in multiple states, with federal and private agencies...from Trail Rides to Television, Western Horseman Magazine to The Fred MacMurray Ranch ,we have seen it all...all ages, all abilities.... Montrose Therapeutic Riding Center offers: Therapeutic Riding, Trail Rides, Hippotherapy, EAL, Veterans and Senior Programs, Private lessons and group settings. We could not do this without the help of all of our volunteers human and horses alike...We are only as good as the shoulders we ride on...We are a Non-Profit Organization thru The Montrose Community Foundation if you would like to Donate to our programs...Blessings for Happy Trails Until we meet again...
