❤️ A Message from Grace Place ❤️

May was a significant month for Grace Place as we moved from bi-weekly to weekly food distributions. This growth would not have been possible without the amazing support of our community, volunteers, partners, and donors. We are grateful for each and every one of you.

As more families continue to visit us each week, there are times when supplies become lighter toward the end of the distribution. Even so, our team works tirelessly to source quality meat, dairy, produce, and other essential items so that every family has the opportunity to take home food that helps ease the burden of rising grocery costs.

As we move forward with weekly distributions, we will continue making small adjustments and improvements along the way to better serve our growing numbers. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we do our very best to source food, coordinate rescues, maintain food safety standards, and ensure that quality food reaches our community.

Most importantly, please remember all are welcome.

We understand that asking for help can sometimes feel difficult or even a little scary. Please know that there is no judgment here—only compassion, kindness, and a desire to help our neighbors.

Love lives within the walls of Grace Place. ❤️

We are here for you! Thank you for allowing us to be part of this amazing community.

We’re excited to host another indoor free food distribution Sunday, June 7th at 1:00 PM (We may begin a bit earlier depending on timing.) Distribution will continue until 2:30 PM or until food is gone — whichever comes first. Everyone is welcome!

Please note: To ensure fairness for all, bags will NOT hold your place in line — you must be physically present.

✅ No ID required — we will simply ask for a small amount of basic household information upon arrival
✅ Please bring your own bags or boxes to carry your items
✅ Please be respectful of our neighbors and do not block driveways when parking
✅ You may pick up food for your household or for another family, but not both at the same time. If you pick up for your household and also need to pick up for another family, you will need to return to the end of the line for the second pickup. Please be prepared to provide all required household information for any family you are picking up for. This policy helps ensure fairness and allows us to serve as many families as possible. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
✅ Posted limits apply to the household as a whole — not to each individual family member.
For example: If your household has 3 people and the posted limit on an item is “1,” your household may take 1 total of that item — not 1 per person.
To help ensure there is enough food available for everyone attending the distribution, posted limits must be followed. We appreciate your cooperation as we work to serve as many families as possible.

We’re expecting a great variety of food, including:
🥩 Meat
🍞 Bread
🍰 Sweets
🥬 Produce (fruits and vegetables)
🥛 Milk
🥚 Cage Free Liquid Egg Whites
🍬 Snacks
…and more!

Because we rely heavily on food rescue, we cannot always predict exactly what will be available — it’s always a fun surprise!

Bring a friend and help us care for our community together. 💛

**Gratitude Post**

Grace Place Collaborative, Inc. would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Waverly Lions for their continued support of our mission and our community. ❤️

Because of your generosity, we have been able to continue ordering from Second Harvest and provide essential items such as milk, eggs, cheese, and other much-needed staples for the families we serve each week.

These are the items that truly make a difference for households trying to make ends meet, and your support helps ensure our neighbors have access to nutritious, quality food when they need it most.

We are so incredibly thankful for community partners like the Waverly Lions who continue to stand beside us and believe in the work we are doing. Your kindness, compassion, and commitment to helping others do not go unnoticed.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for helping us care for our community. ❤️
