Dear Vine Church Family,
It is with deep sadness that we share that Pastor Ron passed away on August 8, 2026, and is now at home with our Lord in heaven. On Wednesday, while waiting for a scheduled doctor’s appointment, Pastor Ron suddenly suffered cardiac arrest. He received immediate CPR and medical care, but tragically, the lack of oxygen caused irreversible damage to his body.
We grieve alongside Stephanie, their family, and all who knew and loved Ron. He was deeply loved by our church family, and we know this loss will be felt by many.
This Sunday, in lieu of our regular announcements, we will take time to share, pray for Ron’s family, and pray for our church family as we grieve this loss.
We know that news like this can affect each of us differently. Our pastors and elders are available to pray with you and provide support for adults, children, and youth as we walk through this together. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you or someone in your family would like to talk or pray.
Please continue to surround Stephanie and the family with your prayers, love, and care in the days ahead. We know many of you will want to support the Jones family during this time, and we will share practical ways we can care for them as soon as those details are available.
We grieve, but we grieve with hope. Ron loved Jesus and faithfully served Him, and we trust that he is now in the presence of the Lord.
