Join us Wednesday, June 10th at 6:00 p.m. in the Library Meeting Room to celebrate Colorado’s 150th Anniversary with a special event highlighting Hispanic heritage in Colorado.

We are honored to welcome author Ernesto Sagás, Ph.D., Professor of Ethnic Studies at Colorado State University, who will share insights from his book Latino Colorado: The Struggle for Equality in the Centennial State.

Simultaneous interpretation from English to Spanish will be available.

❗️Ayer se realizó una llamada a la Red de Respuesta Rápida de Colorado sobre posible actividad de ICE en el condado de Montrose. Después de verificar la información, se confirmó que los vehículos estaban asociados con la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Montrose y NO con ICE.

Por eso es importante llamar a la línea directa si observa actividad que le preocupa. Voluntarios capacitados pueden ayudar a verificar la información y brindar actualizaciones precisas a la comunidad.

Yesterday a call was made to the Colorado Rapid Response Network about possible ICE activity in Montrose County. After verification, it was confirmed that the vehicles were associated with the Montrose County Sheriff’s Office and NOT ICE.

This is why it is important to call the hotline if you see activity that concerns you. Trained volunteers can help verify information and provide accurate updates to the community.
