The Western Slope Men’s Adult Baseball League (WSMABL) is a 4-team wood bat adult ba

seball league that started in 2016. The players come from all of the communities on the Western Slope including Montrose, Delta, Olathe, Gunnison, Paonia, Cedaredge, Eckert, Ridgway, Ouray, Telluride, and Grand Junction. Our league values community and brotherhood through gentlemanly competition every Sunday in the summertime as we play baseball together. We share our love of the game through service to the community. We financially sponsor local high school baseball teams, and many of our members both coach and umpire in youth leagues. We have over 50 local members who love baseball and are eager to offer their personal services to local youth sports. WSMABL currently consists of one division with four team of players 18 and over. All skill levels are welcome to play in our league. Regular season games are played locally on Sundays from April to August. We are a wood bat league, which play nine inning games and have two umpires per game. Teams play in full uniforms on quality fields and use quality equipment. We currently play a round robin championship tournament at the end of our season. We have a $2 million insurance policy covering both personal and property damage. WSMABL is nationally affiliated through MSBL, the premiere amateur sports league in America. Players in our league qualify for both national and international tournaments, including tournaments in Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Beijing, Hong Kong, Cuba, and the MLB spring training complexes in Arizona.
