A wonderful way to close out another Rotary year. 💙💛
This morning, the Black Canyon Rotary Club gathered to reflect on an incredible year of service, leadership, and impact under the guidance of our President, Martin Lutz.
Martin took time to recognize our committee chairs and volunteers, reminding us that every project, fundraiser, and hour of service is possible because of people who are willing to step up and serve our community. I was honored to receive a Certificate of Appreciation for serving as Public Relations Committee Chair.
One of the highlights of the morning was recognizing Pete Petersen as our Rotarian of the Year—a well-deserved honor for someone who continually embodies Service Above Self.
As we shared some of our favorite memories from the past year, it was a great reminder that Rotary is about so much more than meetings. It’s about scholarships for local students, community service projects, partnerships with nonprofits, friendships, leadership, and making a lasting difference right here in Montrose.
Congratulations to Tessa Imus, who will be leading Black Canyon Rotary as President this coming year. I know the club is in wonderful hands, and I’m excited to support her as I continue preparing to serve as President the following year.
Thank you, Martin, for your leadership, your heart for service, and for an outstanding year. Here’s to another year of making an impact together.
