🎄💙 3rd Annual Shop With a Cop 💙🎄

For the third year in a row, yesterday was a reminder of what community truly means.

What makes this day so special isn’t the presents. It is the connection. It’s seeing a child’s eyes light up when they realize they have someone cheering for them. It’s watching officers show up with genuine care and compassion. It’s watching the community see the gentle, giving side of those who serve. It’s truly a community coming together!

To every officer, volunteer, parent, and supporter: thank you. Your kindness is making a lasting difference. And to the amazing kids who joined us, your smiles and pure joy remind us why this tradition matters so much.

It’s a special day in our community! Today is our 3rd Annual Shop with a Cop event! If you notice an increased number of patrol cars in Lee County, Keokuk, and Fort Madison between 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., that’s the officers heading out to brighten a child’s holiday. They will also be at Keokuk Wal-Mart around noon.

Our 2nd Annual Shop with a Cop event was a success! We are so incredibly thankful! Lee County is blessed with amazing law enforcement officers, volunteers, and donors. We were able to provide 20 kids with a fun afternoon even though Mother Nature had other plans!

A huge thank you to Walmart Keokuk for not only your partnership & continued support but also for letting us take over a section of your store to make the most of our day!

We are already looking forward to next year! Thank you again to all involved! Happy Holidays!

We’re excited to announce that checks are in the mail to support 10 different "Shop With A Cop" type programs from various Law Enforcement Agencies across Iowa! These generous programs help bring joy and holiday cheer to local children in need by pairing them with Officers and Deputies to shop for gifts.
