What a spectacular day to celebrate the cultural and community building effects of VT soccer. Thank you to all the families who joined us yesterday in the brilliant sunshine.
Thank you to Sambatucada for giving the whole day a rhythm and pulse. Thank you to Norwich University women’s soccer team, Paine Mountain HS boys soccer team, and MSC EuroTrip for volunteering. We also thank Emrys our super Emcee, the Central American Stars and Capital coaches adult exhibition players. We enjoyed delicious food from Aladdin food truck of Stowe, Maya’s Maple creemees and MSC Eurotrip.
We had 34 teams participate and 55 3v3 matches. Many faces and flags were painted. Soccer darts and giant soccer balls created lots of fun and laughs.
What a day!

We have lots of great nations signed up, but we still need girls teams to fill out the Festival. Please get your girls on the field and in the festival. Coed, all gender teams also, of course.

The World Soccer Festival 2025 is happening on Saturday, August 23 at Montpelier High School, from 9 AM to 2 PM.

Soccer players in grades 3–8 are invited to take part in this interactive, community-building event that celebrates the global culture of soccer—highlighting the sport that connects people across nations. The day will feature 3v3 games for kids and an adult international exhibition match.
