Capital City Stampede update - 83 runners and eight power walkers have registered to date! Online registration at cvrunners.org is open through Thursday, June 4 at 11:59 p.m. The cost goes up by $5 for day of race registration. Registration and bib pickup opens at 7:30 a.m. on Langdon Street. See you in Montpelier on June 6!

And here's the CVR Boston Marathon wrap up! Tim Noonan, 69, veteran of 20+ Boston Marathons, finished in 4:09:51. Anne Treadwell, 58, who has run marathons across the world, finished in 3:42:54. Sal Acosta, 54, running in his first Boston Marathon, started conservatively and finished fast, crossing the line in 3:37:08. Anna Milkowski, 51, put her experience to work and conquered the course in 3:35:03. Addie Hedges, 23, ran like a pro in her first Boston Marathon, going the distance in 3:17:38. Hats off to CVR's finest who do Vermont proud!

BOSTON - CVR BREAKING NEWS - 2:14 p.m. Anne Treadwell has reached 21.7 miles in 3:03:05 (avg pace 8:26 per mile). Tim Noonan hit 20 miles at 3:03:22 (avg 9:11 per mile). Sal Acosta is nearing Heartbreak Hill. Sal reached the 30k mark at 2:33:03 (avg pace 8:13 per mile. Anna Milkowski has one mile to go! Her time at 25.2 miles is 3:26:31!

BOSTON MARATHON - CVR BREAKING NEWS UPDATE - 2:05 p.m. Addie Hedges, 23, from Montpelier, finished her first Boston Marathon in 3:17:38! Addie ran an incredible race averaging 7:33 per mile for 26.2 miles from Hopkinton to Boylston Street in Boston. Anna Milkowski is close behind, reaching the 24-mile mark in 3:15:22!
