The Northfield 5k and Kids Mile races are just one week away! Here are the top five reasons to sign up today at www.cvrunners.org! Reason #5: Registration fees have not increased for the past five years, and have actually lowered for the kids mile and for seniors age 65 plus! Reason #4: Race proceeds provide vital support for CVR's mini-grants for youth running programs and help support the Vermont Senior Games. Reason #3: Community support for the annual footraces is fantastic. Cheering crowds and Labor Day weekend festival fun await you! Reason #2: The 5k course is true Vermont with a Main Street start, a cruising downhill through the downtown area, a footbridge, a section of dirt road, and a thrilling finish back at Depot Square. And the kids mile course is just as exciting! Reason #1: Tradition - 47 years of fun for this iconic race!
