Good start with the places mentioned, but there is so much more here that could have been included. Montpelier is the home of the National Oregon/California Trail Center, the new Montpelier Idaho Temple, the Montpelier Golf Course, Bear Lake National Wildlife Refuge, near 300 miles of groomed snowmobile trails, huge summer baseball tournaments, and many more services and attractions. You could also mention low crime, excellent hospital and schools and a place where people love to live.

Thanks to the Montpelier city crew for installing our new recognition plaque for those who donated for the restrooms and Butch Cassidy Bench Montpelier’s Heritage Park. The restrooms have been constructed and should be transported and installed soon. Kudos to everyone who has made Heritage Park a crowning downtown achievement!

Our picnic table recognition plaques arrived and were installed last week. Thanks to the City of Montpelier for joining the foundation in paying for two more matching picnic tables for Heritage Park in downtown Montpelier!

Our Boo Bash Trick or Treat Trail is filling up, and we’re excited to have some AMAZING local businesses, organizations, and community members joining us!
